Not that I have a daily routine at the moment, but it is always nice to break out, and becoming one with the present is a challenging thing I have learned is so important. Yes, we need to plan for the future and yes, we should reflect on the past, but living in the here and now is everything we have, here and now. We cannot see what the future holds and we cannot go back to the past, so why even bother trying?
It was my fourth time at Melt Festival, I took a two year break. The last time I went it felt very commercial and we were unlucky with the weather. This time the organisers gave it an update – it was more artsy, more in touch with the beautiful nature around it and definitely a bit more crazy. I loved seeing the outfits people came up with just as much as being baffled by the industrial, metal giants just standing around, becoming one with the festival.
