Venice & Co.

Oh Italy, you ancient beauty. Thanks to my wonderful friends I was once again able to experience a new part of this magnificent country. And that in times of a global pandemic - timing wise we were very lucky.

I was struck by the normality of life in small town Vicenza, wowed by the unreal beauty of Venice, which still felt full and alive according to my understanding of “this is a lot of people” now. There is not much to do in Venice other than roam the streets, stop at every bridge to exclaim “oh wow”, drink Spritz Select and eat all the Italian meals. But trust me, that is more than worthwhile.

Verona was cute but not to die for, except for another great lunch with my girl N in the cutest of all restaurants Cafe Carducci. Coming from hot Malaga I was taken by the cold, but luckily overall sunny weather. We stayed in a vineyard airbnb before we made our way to busy Bologna – where even I turned into a pasta lover.
