Missing London
Missing London
A lot of things remind me of London. Big cities, old houses, masses of people, museums... the list goes on. People are surprised when I say I love London. That surprises me.
My personal highlights include: Broadway Market, Camden Road, Kentish Town, Hampstead Heath, walking along the Canal, Granary Square (always something going on there), pubs, the City, Fulham, Notting Hill, going bouldering in the Castle, gym classes at Frame (can they please expand internationally), exploring all of the ever changing boroughs, being a tourist, being a local, getting lost, eating delicious food at beautiful restaurants or with friends at home ... again, the list goes on.
It´s one of those cities you feel so connected to the world without having to leave it. Favourite pastime: counting planes. Get on the train and you are in Paris in 2 hours. Or at Broadstairs by the beach. Or in Brighton.
I do not know if I will ever live in London again. I want to live in too many places in this life. Life really is too short, I wish I could do it all at the same time. London will definitely have a very special place in my heart. Also, or especially because of the wonderful people that made my life there so magnificent. You know who you are.
